David has Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and earned his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1999.  He moved to the Battlefords and started his career with First Financial in 1995.  David and his wife Shellie have 2 sons, Matthew and Damon, who were both born and raised in the Battlefords.

David is an active advisor and enjoys the relationships he has built with his many clients.

David is active in the community.  He was a volunteer football coach with Battlefords Minor Football and with North Battleford Comprehensive High School for a number of years. He played touch football in the North Battleford Touch Football League for a number of years.  He has recently taken up golf.  He enjoys spending time with friends, and he and Shellie enjoy traveling.

Trina has over 25 years of experience in the administrative industry and joined First Financial in 2022, where she handles client inquiries and provides administrative support to advisors.

She has been with her partner, Brian, for 10 years. Trina has two adult sons, Harrison and Matthew, and Brian also has two adult sons, Dominic and Dakota. Together, they have three cats: Kitty, Mystique, and Patrick.

Trina is an active member of the MS Bike Team, Flahr’s with Flair, participating in the MS Bike Leduc to Camrose ride for 8 years and helping coordinate two rides in her hometown of Luseland. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, camping, and bike riding.

Jack grew up in the Battlefords and studied Finance at the University of Saskatchewan. After getting his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2023, Jack returned to the Battlefords to join First Financial.

Kelley Bahrey, a valued Partner and Advisor at First Financial for over two decades, passed away unexpectedly on May 30th, 2023.  He was a true professional in all his interactions and will be sorely missed by his colleagues, clients, friends, family and community.

Kelley diligently served his clients' financial needs, going above and beyond whenever required, and made an outstanding contribution to the growth and excellent reputation of First Financial.

He was a strong community leader and volunteer, having roles with the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary Club.

Kelley is survived by his partner Carolynn, and daughters Ava and Layla.
