David has been part of the Battlefords community since 1995. He grew up in the Yorkton area and attended the University of Saskatchewan. After obtaining his Commerce degree, David moved to North Battleford and joined First Financial, and is a partner of the firm. He subsequently obtained his Certified Financial Planner and Registered Retirement Consultant designations. David’s focus is to simplify and protect his clients’ hard earned wealth, and assist them in reaching their retirement and estate goals.

David is a member and past president of the Kiwanis Club of the Battlefords.

David and his wife Shellie have two sons, Matthew and Damon. Matthew is currently taking classes at the University of Lethbridge, while Damon is currently attending the University of Saskatchewan. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and travelling.

Kelley Bahrey, a valued Partner and Advisor at First Financial for over two decades, passed away unexpectedly on May 30th, 2023.  He was a true professional in all his interactions and will be sorely missed by his colleagues, clients, friends, family and community.

Kelley diligently served his clients' financial needs, going above and beyond whenever required, and made an outstanding contribution to the growth and excellent reputation of First Financial.

He was a strong community leader and volunteer, having roles with the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary Club.

Kelley is survived by his partner Carolynn, and daughters Ava and Layla.
